I've been writing daily on my latest novel - up to 140 pages. I plan on writing more today. I do not outline my plots before I start writing. I start with a basic idea and a main character and then let the rest of the characters show up. Many times they become very different from the way I envisioned them when they first appeared. In one of my manuscripts, the "bad guy" just wasn't really bad enough so I had to come up with some really "bad" guys. Interesting how things happen. There are twists in my manuscripts that I never consciously plotted. The characters themselves took over and dictated the action.

Writer's life

Writers tend to be rather outside the world in which they live. Not exactly anti-social, but more set apart. I think of situations and people in terms of the words and imagery found in books. I write novels - seven, so far. I am working on finding representation and ultimately publication of my manuscripts. Someday it will all work out.
